Ladies Auxiliary – History
Our Story
The Qualicum Beach Legion Ladies Auxiliary was founded in 1929, when local women came together to support veterans returning home and to assist their families.
For more than 96 years, our commitment to service and community has remained steadfast — evolving to include organizing memorials, luncheons, garage sales, and other community events. We also proudly support our Legion Branch in its ongoing initiatives.
Who We Are
We are a dedicated group of community-minded individuals who share a common purpose: supporting our veterans and our town. While we work hard to make a difference, we also believe in the power of camaraderie — laughter and friendship are a big part of who we are.
Our Pride
We take great pride in our accomplishments and are especially honoured that one of our members has received the Meritorious Service Award — the highest distinction the Ladies Auxiliary can bestow.
